Shipping Policy

Please note we cannot guarantee any specific date deliveries and all quoted arrival dates are estimates. Shipping fees might apply to orders over $100 if they are oversized items or the package is going to a hard-to-get location (i.e. some islands) and/or if the shipper requires any surcharge fuel or transportation fees. 

Holiday Shipping 2021

As you might know, Covid-19 has made shipping (and supplies) more complicated this year, and so our own shipping and deliveries might be a bit delayed. To avoid any last minute delays, we suggest that you shop early this season. 

We will work hard to get all your gifts packed & shipped as soon as possible but please note we cannot guarantee deliveries. We will do our best to provide expedited shipping upon request but this is still not a guaranteed delivery by a certain date. Shop now to make sure your loved ones get their goodies in time!


Tadpole provides flat rate ground shipping of $9.95 for all orders under $100 and free ground shipping for orders over $100 to all destinations within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska & Hawaii and US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico). Item(s) being ordered all must be able to ship via traditional ground shipping for this policy to apply. Orders over $100 that do not ship via domestic ground shipping (large items, medium parcel items, freight delivery, and items that might ship from a vendor outside of the United States) may include a surcharge fee. This surcharge, if any, might not be noted on the product page since the shipping might be (re)calculated after the order has been placed and so one of our team members might reach out to confirm any extra shipping charges prior to the shipping of your order.

Some brands with non-standard, oversized and freight shipping include Monte Design, Diono, Oeuf, Nico & Yeye, Plan Toys, UPPAbaby, Bugaboo, Cybex, Thule, Hape, Kettler, Baghera, Little Tikes, John Deere Toys and Banwood Bikes.


All small to medium-sized items ship either via USPS or Fedex Ground Shipping service. If the item (s) are in stock and the order is received by 10:00am EST, usually these items will ship within 24 hours. If the items are special-ordered or out-of-stock, backordered, or for any reason become unavailable, you will receive a separate email notification with a shipping and/or order update with estimated shipping dates if applicable. Transit times for the East Coast are typically 1-3 business days and more for Westward States. Please note that all shipping quotes are estimates and our team does not guarantee specific-day deliveries.

Tadpole is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are successfully delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer. 

Taxes & Duties

Tadpole collects sales tax in the state of Massachusetts. Your purchase may be subject to sales and use tax if you are purchasing items in our physical store or online with shipping within Massachusetts.

If you are buying a product from our vendor that produces their goods outside of the US, duties are included in the price of the item. 

Order Cancellations

We're happy to cancel and refund your order within 24 hours of purchase. You can call us or email us to request the cancellation. Please note that we might not be able to modify or cancel some special orders (items shipped directly from third-party vendors) after the 24 hours had passed and your order has been submitted to the vendor for shipping. We will try our best to make modifications on all orders not yet shipped but this is not guaranteed. Orders that have already shipped cannot be changed or canceled. If your order has already been dispatched, our support team will be happy to set up a return for you. Please note that we will not be able to accept a return for any items on sale or any special-ordered item such as baby gear and furniture. White Glove Delivery & Freight Shipping

Items meeting a specified weight/dimension criteria such as oversized furniture might ship via a third-party freight service in which case the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery. Some furniture items might be eligible for a "white-glove" home delivery for an additional charge. This delivery method means either that the carrier will bring your items inside your desired room of choice and / or assemble any pieces for you, if so confirmed with them prior to the delivery.
