Our Story It was 2006 and the South End neighborhood in Boston was growing—literally. More people, including a local couple, Dave and Storey, were starting their families in the city. Noticing the shift to a more family-oriented community, Storey, who had previously founded a women's fashion boutique, saw the need for a baby boutique in the South End. She and her husband Dave set out to create the first baby store in the historic South End district of Boston MA—Tadpole. As the years went by, the neighborhood and the store changed including the ownership of the store that changed hands in early 2018. Storey and Dave turned the leaf over to a fresh new local couple and parents themselves, Ana and Nenad, who now continue to operate Tadpole as a local resource for parents and as a growing e-commerce platform as well.
	Our Mission Our mission at Tadpole is to be your shortcut to spending sleepless nights researching what to put on your baby registry, which stroller to get or how to put on your baby carrier. Our owners and staff members are always available for a free one-on-one consultation or a car seat install appointment and the whole team is here to help you learn about different products and equip you with the things right for you and your family. "I made it my own, and Tadpole's, mission to make gear shopping easier by providing all the necessary information to the parents upfront - via demos and virtual consultations - and by servicing the gear afterwards - via car seats installs, checks and stroller tune-up events with some of our brand companies.
